In 2022, I created the History Reclamation Project at Youth FX in collaboration with Youth FX staff and community leaders in Albany, New York. The History Reclamation Project is an after school program that connects high school students with Albany's local history of Black resilience and fight for civil rights through the process of making participatory documentaries. In this after school production program, participants will conduct interviews, explore historical archives, and learn the basics of documentary filmmaking.
